Challenge: Create awareness of the elevated beauty experience in-store and introduce a seasonal sample beauty box as a gift to customers who purchase $30 or more of beauty products.
Solution: The idea, brought to life by photographer Teru Onishi, depicts a woman’s face as a blank canvas, enhanced by a wide array of makeup, skincare, and hair care products. Each piece ventures into various mediums and highlights Walgreens' products.

Results: Walgreens sold out of the beauty boxes for each ad insertion, having to restock supplies. The beauty box sampling program was a huge success for the brand. The One Times Square screens, serving more than 1.6 million impressions daily, generated a huge revenue gain for the Walgreens' beauty campaign.
